How To Use National Open University Remita For School Payment
This Article is to help National Open University [Noun] Students who still finds it difficult to Pay their school fees via the new system of payment [Remita]
Why not the previous way of payment?
From a source we learnt that the previous way of paying school fees (going to the bank to pay directly instead of generating Remita Reference Payment(RRR) code before going to the bank to pay) got to an extent that payments and loading of amount payed by students into their portal account was being done with errors.
For example
A student who payed a sum of #25,000 thousand at the bank and later found out that #60,000 was loaded into his E-wallet as a result of the mistake made when loading payed amount into the student E-wallet. Gbam! Nigerians will say Awoof money.
So they had to come up with a solution to the prevailing mistake
-The Remita Reference (RRR) code
Its a nine digit code which is being translated out of the amount you typed on your RRR generator space.
That means before your payment at the bank, NOUN already know the amount they are expecting from the bank you payed to.
1. Enter The Amount You Want To Pay, Click On Generate Remita Payment Reference
2. Write Down Your Remita Retrieval Reference Number(RRR)
3. Use the RRR To MAke Payment From Any Branch of Commercial Banks
4. You Can Also Use The RRR To Pay From Your Internet Banking Platform
5. After Making Payment Allow For About 15 minutes For The Fund To Reflect On Your Profile E-Wallet.
I believe with this little explanation you should be clear with paying with remita. Kindly share this to create awareness.
